A play by the 20th-century Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca. 



Concept: We sought to develop a design that significantly contributes to the story telling, and as such does justice to Lorca's legacy as an all round artist, play write, poet and painter.

 

 

Solution: The creation of an abstract set as a life sized pop-up book, inspired by the art works of the play's author. The set transports the visitor inside Lorca's mind and world, and to the hot tempered ambience of southern Spain, inhabited by the shadows of Dali and Bunuel.​
