It was a happy reunion with this variety theatre smack in the middle of the redlight 'Reeperbahn' district of Hamburg, when Uli Schroeder asked me to create his sets for this production at the Schmidt Theatre.



More then ten years earlier, I had been working at the bar in one of my first jobs after I've left home. It was also in the Schmidt Theatre that I'd met my later ex-husband Nicolai Bereza, who'd later take me to Moscow and on a ten year clowns theatre adventure.
